A New Dawning
First Solo-CD by Austrian Musician & Composer
It started in summer 2004. After his band „The Dreambakers“ had gone their separate ways the Austrian keyboard-player and singer started to write new songs in order to send the new “products” to record companies and event managers. What he couldn´t foresee is that those recordings would become his first solo-CD performance.
The recording sessions for “A New Dawning” lasted for over 1 ½ years because the Bernhard played nearly every instrument himself. Apart from singing and playing the keyboards he contributed most of the guitars, basses and programmed the sequencers and drum computers. At the end some of his friends recorded some guitar and bass overdubs but that was it! The album includes a fine collection of 80s style pop/rock songs and ballads. For the first time he professionally recorded his award-winning song “You´ve got the devil inside”. Those who like acts like Journey, Toto, Billy Joel or Supertramp will be delighted by Bernhard´s music!
The project can be booked as a band performance, including some songs from his former band projects (e.g. Mr. Wizard, The Dreambakers,...)
