Besides recording new pop songs, Bernhard is working on a bigger classical music piece, a "Missa in c-Minor for Choir, Organ & Orchestra" - here you can see the original manuscript of the "Gloria" part (the vocal arrangement), which Bernhard finished yesterday...

Message from Bernhard

Dear Friends,
As I have been suffering from an illness which damaged a nerve in my right hand (sulcus ulnar syndrom), I recently was in hospital treatment. This illness causes numbness/pain in my fourth and fifth finger and therefore I am not on my high standard of playing the keyboards for a longer time. In order to take care of my health (doctors predicted a full recovery...) I decided not to play any live concert in 2012. I dedicate this year to only writing/producing/recording music in my studio. As I am doing better and better each day in little steps, I will be back with a new album and playing on stage again in 2013....

Bernhard reveals some song facts of his upcoming solo album "Jekyll & Hyde":

The following tracks will definitely be the "lead" tracks of the new CD:

Run For Your Life (the opener, a fast uptempo song, a la Nightwish)

Jekyll & Hyde (the title song, sounding like Hurts, Alphaville)

Set The Sails For Goodbye (with the most catchy refrain, maybe lead single)

You Are (a big orchestral ballad)

Also most of the following titles will find the way on the new album:

No Live Gigs 2012

Out of personal issues and the big amount of work on his new solo-album "Jekyll & Hyde", Bernhard draws back from playing live in 2012. No concert gigs will be announced with any of his band projects this year.

Bernhard is now fully involved in the writing/recording process of his new album "Jekyll & Hyde"....... some of the new "rough" versions will soon be available on the internet: " The One That I Love",  "Killing The Narcissist" and "We Own The Night" are soon to be heard on his reverbnation site.....

"building" a new album.......

Bernhard is currently in the studio - day by day -to write/record new songs for his next studio album "Jekyll & Hyde", which can be seen as a departure of "straight" rock/pop as on "Made In Paradise".... The first tracks of the new songs sound dramatic, pathetic, serious, dark and VERY electronic.... although Bernhard's special songwriting strength - the strong melody lines - are never missing!

Track 1....

Bernhard reveals the name of the "opening song" (track 1) for his upcoming new solo album. The song is called Run For Your Life  - "a dramatic uptempo hymn, dark electronic sounds meet heavy metal", as the composer says....

On Austrian TV - "Licht ins Dunkel" Show

Bernhard recently joined the band of young super-talented singer/songwriter David Blabensteiner as keyboardist/vocalist. The first performance will be on Dec. 24th on Austrian TV show "Licht ins Dunkel" ORF2.... more info to follow

Going for Song Contest again.....

...it is now confirmed that apart from being in the composer/producer part for another song, Bernhard, himself as a singer, will again take part in the song pre-selection for Austria's contribution for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the completely new power-ballad "SOMEONE'S IN MY HEART"..... the song is just being recorded and presented towards the end of the year..... stay tuned....

Bernhard is currently preparing/writing new songs for his upcoming new solo album (working title: "Jekyll & Hyde), it will be his "darkest and most introspective" album up to now....

He is also finishing recordings with Peter Power for a German single release....

It was a very good year....

the "school year" 2010/11 turned out to be one of the most successful in Bernhard's musical life:

- release of the 2nd solo-album "Made In Paradise", his masterpiece by now

- song contest nominaton (Austria) with the song "The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter"

- winner of the national songwriting competiton "Projekt Pop"

- Ö3 airplay with "The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter

- music video with the same song

and the story will continue....
